Zhou Man, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, led a delegation to visit the headquarters of Beijing Yingke Law Firm to carry out a corporate visit activity.

On 27 May 2023, the Secretary of the School Party Committee of the Law School, Zhou Man, the Deputy Dean, Deng Jianzhong, and a group of alumni in Beijing, Xiong Wencong, Guan Feng, Feng Jina, Guo Zhuang, Liu Zuoliang, visited the headquarters of Yingke Law Firm and exchanged views. They were warmly received by Li Zheng, Director of the Board of Directors of Yingke Law Firm in China, and Hu Hao, Deputy Director of the Capital Market and Securities Department of Yingke Beijing, as well as Wang Rui, a member of the College Working Committee of Yingke Beijing. Hu Hao chaired the meeting.

Before the meeting, Alumni Lawyer Hu Hao led Secretary Zhou Man and his delegation to visit the Beijing office of Yingke Law Firm, and introduced and explained various aspects of the firm's intellectualisation, international layout, party building work and corporate culture.

At the beginning of the meeting, lawyer Wang Rui, a member of the College Working Committee of Yingke Beijing, introduced the firm's vision, cooperation models, current cooperative colleges and the work of some of these colleges.

Secretary Zhou Man thanked Yingke Law Firm for the warm welcome and introduced Nanchang University and the Law School. Nanchang University is a university with a strong revolutionary tradition, and the Party building and ideological and political work of the Law School are among the best in the university. The Party branch of the Law School's Integrated Legal Volunteer Service has been approved as a national model Party branch for Party building work. Its concept of Party building is the same as that of the Yingke Law Firm. Through the visit, we also learned from Yingke's advanced experience in party building work. At the same time, Nanchang University's concept of embodying Jiangxi characteristics, Chinese characteristics and building a world-class university is in line with Yingke's concept of building a world-class law firm. We hope that the Law School and Yingke can further deepen cooperation, complement each other's strengths and achieve common development. Vice Dean Deng Jianzhong said that Nanchang University has its own characteristics, and Yingke has advantages in professional and international development. Both sides can further cooperate in important cases, specialised legal forums and international business.

Director Li Zheng first welcomed the visit of Secretary Zhou Man, Deputy Dean Deng Jianzhong and their delegation, and introduced that Yingke Law Firm has entered a new stage of "internationalisation, specialisation, intellectualisation and carbon neutrality" in quality development. The people of Yingke are pursuing the vision of being led by Party building and building a world-class law firm. Director Li expressed the hope of further cooperation with Nanchang University Law School, actively fulfilling social responsibilities and jointly cultivating high-quality legal talents to contribute to the construction of the rule of law in China.

Finally, alumni of the Beijing Law School, such as Hu Hao, Xiong Wencong, Guan Feng, Feng Jina, Guo Zhuang and Liu Zuoliang, shared their experiences of development in Beijing after leaving their alma mater, and wished for the establishment of a platform for the Beijing Law School to promote mutual development.

This visit has laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two parties. The Law School will actively deepen communication and cooperation with Yingke Law Firm, jointly fulfil social responsibilities, and contribute to cultivating foreign legal talents needed in the new era and promoting the development of legal education in China.
